Alberto Zayden is a poet and writer from Havana, Cuba, and a long time resident of New York City. His play, The Cigarette Exchange, was produced in Soho by Synchronicity Space. He has performed in various multi media collaborative shows with musicians, actors and dance companies in New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The New York Times has called his poetry "visionary." He is currently shopping his novel, Fishing For Shark, and working on a graphic storyteller poem with illustrator David J. Keates.
